HIP HIP HURRAY!
announcing the winners of the 2nd Annual Type Books Awards
The Type Book Awards are chosen by the Type Books’ staff at both our Queen Street and Forest Hill locations. We have collectively assembled our favourite reads from the last 12 months – from any genre, from any country, published any year.
There are a lot of us, so this list is long and there are no categories. We are all different kinds of readers: we devour exciting thrillers, we delight in witty children’s books, we ponder insightful books of philosophy, we revel in particularly difficult fiction.
Not enough for you? Check out our (pretty long) short list. Still want more? Check out our long (long) list announcement.
Type Books is now proud to present the shortlist of what we have read, loved, and recommended in the last 12 months!
